Built in Nairobi, with the schools that told us what was broken. Everything a school runs on — admissions, attendance, fees, payroll and reporting — in one place.
Most school software does one part of the job. A finance package here. A separate HR system for staff records. Procurement somewhere else, a library system of its own, and attendance in whatever the last IT person set up. Each is fine on its own, and none of them talk to each other.
So the school becomes the integration: the same learner typed into four systems, the same payment reconciled by hand, and somebody spending every Friday making the numbers agree. Buying more software makes it worse, because each new system is one more place the truth can differ.
We put it in one place instead. Fees, academics, attendance, HR, procurement, stores, library, transport and payroll — one system where each part already knows about the others.
Almost everything here started as somebody's bad week. A term-end that would not close. A register nobody could reconcile. A parent disputing a balance the office could not explain. A school tells us what is going wrong, we sit with it until we understand the job properly, and then we build the thing that stops it happening again — for them, and for every school after them.
