Placing a boarder in a house and bed

Assign, transfer or move a learner out.

Before you start

This needs to be set up first:

1Go to Student life → Boarding → Houses and open the Assignments tab.
2Select Assign student. Choose the learner, house and academic year; a bed and tier are optional.
3Set the start date and select Assign.

If the learner is already placed, the button reads Transfer, with an optional reason for the move. Move out frees their bed.
