- 1Go to Academics → Academics → Guardians and open the guardian.
- 2Make sure they have a phone number — the parent portal signs in by phone.
- 3In the Parent portal card, select Activate login.
A temporary password is shown to you on screen. If SMS is set up for your school, the parent is also sent their sign-in details by text.
Or send an invite instead: in the same card, select Create invite link and share the link with the parent. They open it, sign in with a code sent to that phone number, and accept — the school then appears in their portal.
An invite only works for the phone number on the guardian’s record. A parent signed in with a different number or an email is asked to sign in with the right number.
On the parent portal, parents sign in with their phone number or email and a 6-digit code sent to them. If a parent tries the staff sign-in page, they are pointed to the parent portal.
